Lasa has been providing tech advice to the charity sector since 1984. LasaTech brings together our offer of independent, free and low cost technology services to the charity sector.

If you are a charity based in London and serving Londoners, our City Bridge Trust funded helpline can help. Whether you’re looking for tech support, a web designer, database expert or data protection guru, we can point you in the right direction. If you're outside London, where possible, we'll point you towards sources of help local to you. Email us at email@example.com or use the contact form below.
If you represent a charity network, we'd be happy to talk about extending our helpline service to your members.
Webinars are a great way to learn about the latest in charity tech - Google Ad Grants, social media, Office 365, and getting a new website - from experts in the field at the convenience of your own computer. Browse our upcoming webinars and archive of past webinars.
Our tech newsletter has run since the dawn of the computer age in 1984, providing charities with insight and guidance on the latest tech resources, apps, funding, tips and tricks. Formerly known as Computanews, our LasaTech newsletter rounds up digital technology news, funding, events, products and services for charities and civil society organisations in a monthly digest. Subscribe to our LasaTech newsletter.
If you’re looking to upgrade your IT systems or make efficiencies, our TechCheck provides an in-depth analysis of your charity’s IT environment, including its existing computer applications, hardware infrastructure, IT plan and tech support. Our TechCheck will give your charity a detailed written report and guide recommending a strategic plan and outline costs. Previous tech-check clients include Citizens UK, Disability Rights UK, Lambeth Law Centre, and many more.
Digital tech has become central to almost every charity - small and large - in the drive to reduce costs, increase efficiency and effectiveness, and improve communication and collaboration. If you need help developing an IT strategy, hiring a new tech support company, writing an invitation to tender or help with project managing a tech project, we can help. We've worked with some of the biggest names in the sector, NCVOLaw Centres Network, ACEVO, and the smallest - so our tech consultancy can help your charity.
Law Centres Network 2016-2017
Funded by Legal Education Foundation, we audited the IT hardware, software and could services of law centre members as part of a wider technology upgrade project to make the business processes of individual law centres more efficient and effective.
Connecting Care 2013-2016
Following on from the Get Connected Project, our Connecting Care project was a Department of Health project delivered by Lasa to help small charitable providers of adult social care make the most of information communication & technologies (ICTs). Our project provided health and social care providers with a free ICT health-check; independent consultancy advice on making better use of technology; free access to donated and discounted hardware and software schemes; free monthly technology and social care news bulletin.
